Premika Sucharitkul

Graduated from Institut Supérieur d’Interprétariat et de Traduction and the prestigious Sorbonne University in Paris, Premika left Thailand at the age of eight where she spent the rest of her childhood overseas. From Tokyo, Paris , Rome to the Hague where she followed her father’s diplomatic postings as Thai Ambassador, all these cities were to influence her understanding of different cultures.

Through her translation and adaptation work of His Majesty’s musical compositions in French, Premika hopes to receive a positive response from her friends in the French speaking community which would encourage her to pursue her mission in bringing closer Thailand and Francophone countries so that the different cultures from both worlds would be mutually appreciated.

Through the years, as Secretary General of The French Alumni Association (A.A.E.F.), Premika dedicated herself with passion in promoting French language and culture in Asia, through the organisation of Franco-Thai cultural and artistic events. She is considered as the “Ambassadress of Moliere’s language in the Kingdom of Siam”.

Enchanted by watercolour among her other talents, Premika enjoy experimenting with the use of different techniques combining control and free expression.
